Emma's First Christmas

Well, there's alot to catch up on in the last few weeks, so this post may be a little long...

Emma had a great Christmas! She has soooo many toys that she hasn't had a chance to play with them all yet!

First we visited with Aunt Carol and Uncle Roger before they went to Florida for Christmas. Aunt Carol cooked a feast and Emma entertained us as we ate. Emma got a riding toy that you can change to push from them. She loved smiling her cheesy smile at Aunt Carol!

Next we did our annual cookie baking at Grandma Walker's house with all of the aunts and girl cousins. We made alot of cookies and Emma even got her own apron this year!

Christmas Eve was at Grandpa and Grandma Dykas' house. Emma had a blast with all the people there and loved all her toys...a giant teddy bear, a singing bear, a walking toy, a stroller, a miniature zoo, her first purse...you get the picture, she got alot of stuff and we still had Christmas Day! Emma stayed up almost the entire time! She lasted from noon that day until 10:30 that night and didn't fuss at all!

Christmas morning Emma received her first gift from Santa...a musical jungle. She loves it! She especially likes the monkey that plays music...she loves to dance. Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Walker's house to exchange gifts. She got a colorful catepillar, play remote, books, tiny piano, crystal ornament, and a rocking horse. Auntie Jessica got her a cute doll, Michigan State apparel including a cheerleading outfit, and ornaments.

After opening gifts at Grandpa and Grandma Walker's, we went to Great-Grandpa and Grandma Jacobsen's house where she got a soft Noah's Arc stuffed with pairs of animals and a book on the story of Christmas.

Lastly, we visited Jay and Emily's house for a nice relaxing visit with the kids. Emma had a ball! She loved watching all the boys playing and would laugh and scream along with them! She loved Fin since he was exactly her size! She can't wait to visit with them again!
