After opening her basket from the Easter Bunny at home (filled with a puzzle and lots of other little goodies) we headed to Great Grandpa and Grandma Jacobsen's house for Easter brunch. Grandma and Grandpa Walker got her a basket full of stuff...a book, bunny, a bathing suit with matching coverup and hat, and candy for Mommy and Daddy! She had a blast running all over the place, keeping Grandma Walker on her toes, and playing in the little rocking chair.
The next stop was Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Roger's house to see the Walker side. She loved playing with all the kids. As soon as she got there, little Griffin (it was his 2nd birthday!) came down off the stool to give Emma a hug. They hugged each other so gently...it was sooo sweet! Then Griffin grabbed Emma's hand and said, "Come on!" and "Wanna play a game?" Emma loved it! She spent the remainder of the day running around with Carson and Griffin playing tag, playing with the boys' toys, and having so much fun! She was nonstop! I know that they're going to have a blast this summer together!
And Emma survived the entire day with NO nap, NO crankiness, and NO whining! I was shocked but I guess there was just the right amount of excitement to keep her busy! Of course she crashed on the short ride home.
On Friday, I had the Dykas side over for Easter so we wouldn't have to make a third stop. Emma had fun playing with her goodies from Grandma: a shopping cart with a new baby, little purse, and bunny. And of course, more candy for Mommy and Daddy!
Now where do I put all this stuff? We have one spoiled little girl!
